Sisterly is committed to creating a safe environment for all users and takes a zero-tolerance approach to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page outlines our standards, policies, and mechanisms for protecting children and preventing harm.

Zero Tolerance Policy

Sisterly has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation. Any content, behavior, or activity that violates child safety laws will result in immediate account termination, reporting to law enforcement, and full cooperation with authorities.

1. Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation

Prohibited Content and Behavior

  • Any content depicting, describing, or promoting child sexual abuse or exploitation
  • Sexualized content involving minors or individuals who appear to be minors
  • Grooming behaviors or attempts to establish inappropriate relationships with minors
  • Sharing, soliciting, or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Any communication or content that targets or exploits minors

Age Verification and Restrictions

  • Sisterly is restricted to users aged 18 and older
  • We implement age verification measures during account creation
  • Users must provide accurate age information and verify their identity
  • Any attempt to misrepresent age or create accounts for minors is strictly prohibited

Content Moderation

  • Automated systems scan for potentially harmful content
  • Human moderators review reported content and suspicious activity
  • All user-generated content is subject to review
  • Content that violates our standards is immediately removed

2. In-App User Feedback and Reporting

Sisterly provides multiple mechanisms for users to report concerns, inappropriate behavior, or potential child safety violations:

In-App Reporting

Users can report suspicious behavior, inappropriate content, or safety concerns directly through the app using our reporting feature accessible from any profile or message.

Emergency Reporting

For immediate threats to child safety, users can access emergency reporting options that prioritize urgent cases and ensure rapid response.

Anonymous Reporting

Users can submit reports anonymously if they prefer, ensuring their safety while reporting concerns.

Response Time

All reports are reviewed within 24 hours, with urgent child safety reports prioritized for immediate review and action.

3. Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) Prevention and Response

Detection and Removal

  • Automated detection systems scan all uploaded content for known CSAM using industry-standard hashing technology
  • Any detected CSAM is immediately removed and the account is permanently banned
  • All CSAM cases are reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement
  • We maintain zero tolerance and take immediate action on any CSAM-related content

Cooperation with Authorities

Sisterly fully cooperates with law enforcement agencies, child protection organizations, and regulatory bodies in investigations related to child safety violations. We preserve evidence and provide necessary information to support legal proceedings.

We are committed to transparency and accountability in our efforts to combat child sexual abuse and exploitation.
